Our story is more unconventional. James and I met online when I moved to Chicago in 2014. I am from Brazil. He was born and raised in Chicago.
There was no surprise or elaborate proposal, it was more of a mutual feeling. Since I didn't have family in the country then, we eloped, and had a courthouse wedding. We are happily married. We have fun and laugh everyday and care for each other. In 2019 I took him on his first trip out of the country, to Brazil, to meet the rest of my family and we had a blast.
I initially got married with a silver ring, because I loved the design. It fit my personality and style. A few years after I saw an ad for My Trio Rings on Instagram and immediately fell in love with the rings, and when I saw a set that reminded me of my original ring, I knew I had to have it. I purchased them separately because we don't have a lot of money, so I bought the band first then the ring a few months after. I love the set, it's beautiful and it's perfect for me.
